Thailand is famous - some would say infamous - for its 'ladyboys', or male-to-female transgender. To the western mind they are cabaret artistes and prostitutes, subjects of perverse fascination in the land where 'anything goes'. They are well-known but poorly understood.

This on-going project explores the breadth of the transgender experience in a society that views gender in shades of grey rather than black and white.
